Brothers and Sisters we are in very serious potential flood area. Please watch the culverts and streams in our ward. If you see brush blocking the culverts please call Davis County 801-444-2230 or Tony Browning 801-726-3813 to report it. If you live next to the creeks please make sure you don’t have brush or items that will be swept down stream by the rising waters which will block the culverts and cause flooding. The county is delivering a load of sand and sandbags to Ted Jones on Monday. If you need help sandbagging please contact someone in the ward leadership or Tony and we will arrange some help for you. Please diligently make any preparations you can for this spring runoff, and watch out for each other. Ministering brothers please watch out for your assigned families. The Lord will bless us for our efforts.
Stake Conference
All members of the stake are invited to participate in the Kaysville Utah West Stake Conference to be held on Saturday and Sunday, April 15-16, 2023, where Elder Alvin F. Meredith III will preside with Elder Federico M. Kahnlein also attending.

Saturday, April 15th, 3:00 pm at the Stake Center Ward and Stake Council Leadership Meeting for the Stake Presidency, Stake Patriarchs, High Council, Stake Young Men Presidency and Secretary, Stake/Ward Sunday School Presidencies and Secretaries, Stake/Ward Relief Society Presidencies and Secretaries, Stake/Ward Primary Presidencies and Secretaries, Stake/Ward Young Women Presidencies and Secretaries, Stake/Ward Clerks, Stake/Ward Executive Secretaries, Elders Quorum Presidencies and Secretaries, Bishoprics, and Ward YW/YM Advisors and Specialists.
Saturday, April 15th, 6:00 pm at the Stake Center Adult Session for all members 18 and older
Sunday, April 16th, 10:00 am at the Bountiful Regional Center General Session for all members of the stake
Stake Temple Day
The Stake Presidency invites stake members to attend the temple this coming week in preparation for Stake Conference. The Stake Temple Day is Wednesday, April 12th, but please attend on whichever day works with your schedule. Note that the Bountiful Temple is currently closed but other area temples remain open.
Elder Kevin W. Pearson, Utah Area President, has asked that we share with all ward members the two documents attached regarding Emergency Preparedness plans and preparing for possible Spring flooding.
